In this last decade, I was finally able to complete a few sports related dreams of mine.

I’m a small fry that was born in South Philly, spent quite a few years in Queens and I’m currently located in Boston. Based on all of that, you’d think one of the locations of my sports bucket list would be in one of those cities.

Nope.

My sports dreams were made when I got to watch my first Packers game vs the New York Jets in 2018 AND got to make my way to Green Bay, Wisconsin to enjoy my first game at the historic Lambeau Field in 2019.

Oop I’m back.

Well hell y’all. I’m writing again.

It’s been a hot second since I’ve been able to write. A concussion, undisclosed trauma and a whole lotta stress just made it near impossible for me to get the words to come back.

But here I am, not ya boi, back at it again, wishing I had a Krispy Kreme.

We’re about to enter a whole new decade with a lot of potential looming on the horizon. So I figured the best thing to try right now is looking back on some of the biggest events in my life of the last decade.

This is in no particular order because my brain is still trying to heal from the last three years. So with that, let’s start!

Here’s to what was honestly the weirdest, yet most educational year of my life.

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”

It’s a simple, common yet occasionally annoying anyone might remember hearing constantly as they grow up.

It’d be easy enough to tell you that I’ve always known I wanted to grow up and be a writer. But for the longest time, all I wanted when I grew up was to be happy. While happiness might be a tad difficult to define, I never understood how many more moments I would get to define it after coming out.

One of the most important things I’ve learned since I’ve gotten involved at WRKC is that not only do I handle conducting interviews pretty well, but I also am more than able to be interviewed by others.
